I know it was not in vain

The love given to you,

Simply because the feeling

was pure and donated

In such a heartfelt way,

That, before reaching you,

Positively reached my life.

Oh!, satisfying feeling

Of being great without anything to be,

Only because it is intrinsic in the soul

May the greatness reaches us

In the good values released,

That everyone is welcomed

In the safety that the soul

In good faith embrace,

In a certainty created,

Understood why,

In the human condition, which is precarious,

In the name of love, open the guard!

Sei que não foi em vão

O amor cedido a ti,

Simplesmente porque o sentimento

Era puro e doado

De forma tão sentida,

Que, antes de te atingir,

Atingia positivamente a minha vida.

Oh!, sensação gratificante

De ser grande sem nada ser,

Somente porque é intrínseco na alma

Que a grandeza nos alça

Nos bons valores lançados,

Que a todos se faz acolhidos

Na segurança que a alma

Na boa-fé se abraça,

Numa certeza criada,

Compreendida porque,

Na condição humana, que é precária,

Em nome do amor, se abre a guarda!
